In this IPAS lesson on natural resources, students participated in a digital project-based learning activity guided by Mrs. Ika, a certified Apple Teacher. Through this lesson, students were encouraged to understand the impact of excessive use of natural resources and the importance of environmental conservation from an early age.
At the beginning of the lesson, Mrs. Ika explained the topic of natural resources, focusing on the issue of overexploitation and its effects on the environment. After gaining a clear understanding of the basic concepts, students were divided into eight groups. Each group explored examples of overused natural resources, identified the problems caused by these issues, and proposed possible solutions to help protect the environment.

With guidance from Mrs. Ika, students were encouraged to think critically, engage in active discussions, and develop creative ideas. Each group was free to choose how they presented their work, resulting in a variety of digital projects such as podcasts, digital posters, storybooks, and educational videos.

During the project creation process, students used creative applications including GarageBand, Keynote, and iMovie. The integration of technology made the learning experience more engaging, collaborative, and relevant to real-life situations. Students not only learned IPAS content but also developed communication skills, teamwork, creativity, and digital literacy.

Through this activity, IPAS learning became more meaningful. By combining discussion, group projects, and digital tools, students gained a deeper understanding of natural resource issues and developed a sense of responsibility toward environmental sustainability.
